About Maura Cattaneo
Hi, I’m Maura, I’m Italian and I’m an English teacher with a big passion for helping people connect through language.
Over the years, I’ve taken up teaching as more than just a job — it’s something that gives me energy, inspiration, and joy every single day.
I love coming up with fresh ideas for my classes, and I’m always keen on making learning fun, interactive, and meaningful and this is how I came across ManWrites!
Outside of teaching, I wear many hats!
A while ago, I really got into cycling, both in the nature and on my indoor trainer.
What started as a casual hobby has turned into something I’m hooked on, cycling has become my way of recharging and staying strong.
I also dabble in cooking healthy, tasty dishes that I love to share with family and friends (I’d love to run my own cookery programme or YouTube channel but I guess I am too scared to fail).
I’m fond of nutrition and wellbeing in general — I enjoy learning about food, movement, and ways to improve my lifestyle.
When it comes to free time, I’m an outdoorsy type, whether it’s a long walk, a bike ride, or simply taking photos while strolling in nature. I love being surrounded by friends as I truly value good company and conversation.
I’m always curious, and I look forward to taking up new hobbies or discovering projects that spark my imagination.
At heart, I’d say I’m someone who loves life, thrives on learning, and is always ready to give something new a try— whether that’s a skill, an activity, or even just a good podcast (which I devour while I am out for my pre work morning walk).
